Watch frequency, not just quantity
Sipping sugary or acidic drinks over long periods can repeatedly expose teeth to acid. Snacking frequency can matter as much as the amount eaten.
Avoid unnecessary wear
Brushing too hard, biting nails or opening packaging with your teeth can contribute to chipping, gum recession or enamel damage. Grinding may also need assessment.
Swap habits, protect your smile
Water between meals, gentle brushing and a properly fitted mouthguard where appropriate can help. Your hygienist can suggest realistic changes suited to your routine.
