If you would like to understand how your information is handled, request a copy of the practice’s full privacy notice or discuss your records, please contact your local S3 Dental practice directly.
Online booking
Online appointments are arranged through the relevant practice’s established external booking provider. Review that provider’s privacy information before submitting personal information. Our live appointment checker only reads appointment times, treatment categories and clinician details already published on that provider’s public booking pages. It does not access existing patient records, collect identity information, reserve appointments or make changes to the practice diary.
Our AI reception assistant
Our website includes an AI-powered reception assistant to answer general questions about our practices, appointments and treatments. Messages are processed using OpenAI’s API. The assistant cannot access dental records or non-public appointment diaries, confirm a booking, provide a diagnosis or replace professional dental advice. Where available, it may report appointment times already published on the practice’s public online booking page.
Please do not enter confidential medical histories, dates of birth, identity documents, photographs, payment-card details or other sensitive personal information. We configure the assistant without saved response histories; however, OpenAI may retain limited API information for abuse monitoring under its own data policies, ordinarily for up to 30 days.

WhatsApp and email
WhatsApp and email are convenient for initial enquiries, but please avoid sharing confidential health information, identity documents or payment details through these channels unless your practice has confirmed an appropriate secure process.

This website links to external services including online booking, Google Maps and WhatsApp. Those services have their own privacy notices and may use cookies or similar technologies.
